In this time we have seen the need for and identified some unique energy saving products and have introduced these to New Zealand. Hot water is typically one of the largest uses of energy in residential homes, rest homes, hotels, motels and hostels. Consider the ECO GFX which halves the cost of hot water for showers through heat exchange. Instead of relying on electric or gas hot water cylinders, use the Quantum heat pump hot water unit to produce your hot water at around one third of the cost. Based on the same principle as heat pumps used to heat your home, they are perhaps the most energy efficient way to heat your water. Unlike solar systems there is no need to have an electric element at all! Controlling your energy use is another effective way to reduce energy costs. C-Bus is a lighting and home automation control system. It is typically used to automate energy use so the lights are used only as and when required. Walker Controls is a full Building Management System that allows your energy consumption to be controlled and automated. You can surf and manage your site as easily as if you were surfing the Internet. It is often possible to install Light Fittings, which use approximately 50% or less of the energy typically used. In conjunction with Pierlite, one of New Zealand's largest manufacturers of light fittings, we can offer a range of efficient fittings. |
